My Review
The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower was a good investment for those with those who need to clean up smaller driveways and sidewalks otherwise, a longer power cord will be needed. The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower does a really good job taking care of snow, for anything heavy and high, it will require a little effort pushing it back and forth. Assembly
The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower was very easy to assemble and does not need additional person to help. This is the one added benefit with the “Joe” products, in which they are very easy to assemble with minimal assembly required and it’s very lightweight (approx 37.5 lbs). Aside from the chute/crank handle bars, there’s not much more to assemble.
Durability
We have taken the Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower for a few runs with 6-8″ of snow this winter and it did a lot better than expected. Even though it’s lightweight, it was able to handle light fluffy snow to wet snow with no problems. With proper care, I would imagine that this can last a few winters with no issues. The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower does feel a bit flimsy due to the lightweight and majority of the body is made of hard plastic. However, for the price you pay, you can get your monies worth.

The auger starts rotating immediately after the snow thrower is switched on the Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower. The chute controller is very easy to use by turning the handle left or right to steer the chute to the desired direction. It’s has 180 degrees adjustable directional chutes throw snow up to 30 ft.
To Start the Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower
The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower is easy to turn on, by just pressing the safety switch button and squeeze the switch bar lever. Once the snow blower starts, you can release the safety button and resume operation.
Steel Auger and blades for handling the snow!
The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower has a Steel auger with 2 rubber blades and is equipped to cuts 21 in. wide x 11.8 in. deep with each pass.The Auger height is approximately 8 inches.
All Terrain Wheels
These all-terrain wheels is able to move and navigate through the snow with ease. Even if its wet and heavy snow, the Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower was able to get maneuver with little effort.
3-Watt LED headlight
The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower has a lights switch on the headlight that can help with the job at night and light up the pathway. We were able to get through a few jobs in the night with this extra feature, it has lasted 25-30 minutes without any issues thus far.
Putting it Away
Opening the tabs on both sides as seen below will allow for folding of the bars and quickly put away for storage.
Price
The Snow Joe SJ625E Electric Snow Blower would be considered a budget electric snowblower. Even so, you’re getting a good bang for the buck with the extra bells and whistles such as the 12″ snow depth in which this machine can handle. The range I’ve seen on the Internet and local retailers, it runs between $155 to $200. It’s always best to shop around and the price is dictated by the season.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this is a solid purchase especially if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of managing a gas snow blower and that is compact and lightweight for quick storage. It’s also able to get the job quick with a 15 amp electric motor that moves 900 lbs of snow per minute. There’s also no hassle of gas and oil changing. The one drawback as with other electric snowblowers is needing a long outdoor power cord, otherwise it can last for a long time with proper care.
