Hard to Understand the bible
If you are of the many who find it hard to understand the bible, you’re not alone. The bible is for one, not easy to read. But we should not lose sight of the vision God has setup for us. If you cannot understand the bible, it may be a good sign. Let me explain further.
The bible is a collection of many books accumulated into a single book. All written by prophets and messengers from our God.
Many people deter from reading it due to its confusing language and are often times turned off by not being able to relate by its storytelling structure. If you have read the bible, you will see often times there names being mentioned and families and ancient towns. Over and over, and those people of this generation cannot comprehend it’s relevancy or purpose.
Cannot Understand the Bible: Old Testament verses New Testament
The bible has been been diverse into two main sections, the Old Testament, and the New Testament. The Old Testament was everything prior to the arrival of the Messiah Jesus Christ. The New Testament is about Jesus Christ and Revelations, which is what is to come when Jesus returns back to Earth.
The bible is an ancient collection of knowledge and wisdom about God. The Old Testament was written in ancient Hebrew, while the New Testament in Greek. Therefore, it has been translated many times and this as a results into many different versions of the bible. How its written and translated to the English version, may be interpreted differently by people and churches.
For many reasons, Satan has caused this confusion among people, and in attempt to further confused those who read it.
If you are truly devoted or even remotely interested in being saved and righteously wanting to be closer to God. Your faith in him will guide you and I will tell you this is the truth for I have also experienced this.
However, if you are unwilling to, then you will be forever lost and he has succeeded in his goal.
Remember,in the Gospel of Matthew (13:10-17) Jesus spoke to the large crowd, and when he spoke, he spoke in parables and not everyone could understand him. The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
I will leave you with “Keep an open mind”, “keep your faith”, “accept” and “pray”, God will show you the way.
